Discussing the concept of writer’s block and ways to combat it. Come and join Emily-Rose at the House of Zeus for a discussion of the oft-cited and curious phenomenon of writer’s block. Find out about different writers’ experiences of writer’s block, how they have defined it and ultimately combated it. Emily-Rose will guide you through an overview of the phenomenon; she will express her own views on and solutions to writer’s block from her time working in journalism and academia, as well as in her current writing projects: fiction, poetry, and writing for wellbeing. She will then offer solutions in a three-step process which she hopes will encourage and inspire other writers to overcome their own experiences of writer’s block. There will be a Q&;A session and plenty of opportunities for discussion in a welcoming and inclusive space with like-minded people.
