During my three-month artist residency at Virgin Hotels Edinburgh, I found myself surrounded by myth, mischief, and momentum. In between larger canvases and oil stick work, I would often return to the simplicity of India Black Ink on acid-free paper — raw, immediate, and personal.
This A5 sketch was born in that space:
