This artwork holds a special place in my heart, and I want to share its story with you. It's not just about my love for Cream's song "Strange Brew," but it symbolizes the beginning of an incredible journey.

Around five years ago, I packed my dreams and art supplies and made a bold move to Edinburgh. A new city, new challenges, and a fresh start. I didn't even have a proper art studio; I painted this piece in my room. Everything was different from the city I had lived in before, Aberdeen, where everyone knew everyone.

Starting anew can be tough, but that's where the magic happens. Today, I've woven myself into the vibrant tapestry of Edinburgh's art community, and I couldn't be prouder.

This painting encapsulates that journey. The acrylics and wax crayons on paper, roughly 60 x 40 cm, tell the story of my transformation.
